They Think

They think, they can curse me,
Raged out of jealousy,
Held for all the guiltless deeds,
But lesser they know that I am not Medusa,
And they are not Athena.

They think, they can suppress me,
With a hunter by their side,
Or consideration in lieu of service,
But lesser they know that I am not a slave,
And they are not zamindar.

They think, they can teach me,
Fallacious interpretation of holy book,
To justify the defecation of violence,
But lesser they know that I am not follower,
And they are not the Prophet.

They think, they can cage me,
Captivated to entertain the visitor,
For their needs and amusement,
But lesser they know that I am not an animal,
And they are not Human.

They think, they know me,
Like the back of one's hand
But they really don't.
They think, they matter,
   Then, they better Think Again.
