Owlish

An owl is a nocturnal bird of prey from the order Strigiformes. They are bestowed with such incredible qualities and features which craved us to become a strong-willed, perceptive and a great empathizer human and can guide us into exploring the unknowns about life.

Owls live within the darkness, which includes magic and mystery. It flies by night and has an uncanny ability to capture prey. Their eyes are specially adapted to easily detect movement and see any changes in every sight. Here, owl symbolized is to pierce through darkness to the other side that promises light. It serves as a guide to distance from the noise of life and engross our self in a soothing life. Moreover, it prompts us to open our eyes and honestly examine how things are.

Owls generally live alone but will seek each other out when it’s time to breed. The female will only mate with a male she truly trusts. Such selective response by female owl to find a potential mate should be inculcated by women. They should not only look for a lover but a friend who is supportive and trustworthy at the same moment. Owls have sound intuitive abilities and are quick to discern the real intentions behind other’s actions or motives. It serves as a mean for us to understand an act or practice of deceiving; concealment or distortion of the truth for misleading; fraud; cheating. Thus, the analysis of real or fake intention of others should not be neglected and can be undertaken with utmost importance.

Owls love to explore unknown territory and have a knack for all new things. Similarly, we should have a curious nature to explore new things. It’s always a great idea to engage the mind and learn something new. Forming a new habit keeps your brain sharp, healthy, and active. Alternatively, the Owl symbolizes to stay away from negativity and achieve calmness throughout the day. With this in mind, it cues us to listen carefully to our inner voice and strive for a better life. 

This bird has always continued to be a source of wisdom, spiritual and intellectual.
