Quarantine Productivity

COVID – 19 quarantine has created a mental health disorder and boredom among individuals. There is a restriction on the movement of people and goods to prevent the spread of disease which has created an emotional and occasionally psychological state experience when an individual is left without anything in particular to do, is not interested in their surroundings, or feels that a day or period is dull or tedious. They are becoming more reluctant because one of the biggest struggles individuals are having while being quarantined is staying productive.

There is a famous saying that “Rome wasn’t built in a day” so if its a struggle to stay motivated, realize you are not alone. We all are facing the lack of motivation but going productive is the need of the hour. We have probably heard this from dozens of people, but learning a skill doesn’t have to be a monumental thing. In some or the other way, it helps us to get out of our boredom space. To escape boredom, I have started painting.I was so much lost in my hectic schedule that lastly I remember when I took crayons in my hand was 8 years ago.

Its high time to discover our talent and start working on it. Even if we cannot excel but at least we can give a try with no regrets because it’s never too late to learn new things. Anyways since taking up painting again, I’ve found my way of being productive. Hopefully, this inspires you to be productive, dump the excuses and get up and go.

I haven’t found quarantine boring quite the opposite. I have taught myself new skills, giving cooking lessons on Zoom and am also busy decorating my apartment. I wont be sorry when it ends but it has helped me focus I what I need to do and given me motivation. I do miss seeing other members of my family but we keep in touch via Zoom and phone, Even though my local gym is closed I’m exercising 5 days at week at home, the exercise really helps get rid of stress.

    Best Wishes and Stay Safe
